Disposal
IF YOUR BATTERY REACHES THE END OF ITS LIFE, DON’T THROW IT AWAY. TAKE IT TO A RECYCLING CENTER, OR PLACE IT IN A RECEPTACLE SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR RECYCLING BATTERIES.
Where to recycle your battery?
DON’T TRASH IT
If your battery is damaged, contact the manufacturer. If it has reached the end of its life:
- Never throw it in a waste or curbside recycling bin
- Take it to a local battery recycling center
- Always follow regulations when disposing your battery
RECYCLE IT
Recycle your portable rechargeable batteries to conserve natural resources and to prevent them from entering the solid waste stream. They can be recycled by depositing them into specifically designed battery collection boxes at major retailers in the U.S. and Canada.
